FROM THE 1 MILLION COPY BESTSELLING AUTHOR
This is definitely one of those books that I went into not really understanding what I was going to get. I mean, I thought it was just some traditional love story–and it really wasn’t.
For starters, the main (adult) character, Michael, is just a little…”quirky”. I feel like that’s a nice way of putting it. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to connect with him at first. Reading from his perspective proved a little daunting in the first few pages. But he, along with the reader, grew throughout the story–grew throughout Callum’s story.
As for Callum, he was one of the most delightful, charming charming characters that I’ve ever read. And even though I went into this book a little blind as to what the tale would be–Callum is what hooked me into this tale–and carried me through.
This book had me giggling, tearing up, and just plain emotional throughout. I am so glad that I read this novel. It was incredibly heartwarming. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
I love the cover on this one, but I’m not a fan of women’s fiction. Glad you enjoyed it, great review!
