Going home has never been easy...
With her dad in hospital, Robyn Matthers needs to go home and take charge. But does she have the strength to do it?
Cole Ryan is on a personal mission. Tall, dark and handsome, Robyn has certainly noticed the brooding hockey player around town. But can she trust her feelings – or his? But she can't risk the past she's kept buried for so long coming out and he hasn't opened his heart for a long time.
Will the two of them be able to finally open up, and let themselves, just maybe, fall in love...
Previously published as Taking Charge.
Robyn Matthers has been away from home for a long time. And coming home is very rarely ever easy.
When Robyn comes home to a sick father that has left his business in shambles and his hockey team the same–she knows she has to do what she can to help him.
The story and arc between Robyn and her father is enough to make this a wonderful read. Add in the sweet love story–and this author caught me with an amazing story.
It sounds like there was a combination of some wonderful factors to make for a great read! Glad it was a solid story for you.
