Monthly Wrap-Up: September 2021

Welcome to my June 2021 Monthly Wrap-Up! This is where you can see a little bit of what went on this month here, at Captivated Reading!

What a busy month! We’ve been continually in the process of settling into our new home, here in the Black Hills of South Dakota. But, we’re loving it so much!

There are just some boxes still that have no place to go, as we sold and got rid of some of our furniture before leaving California. So, we wait and put stuff away little by little.

But, we’ve made a TON of progress in the last month! It’s really starting to feel like home!

Also, we’ve already made some absolutely wonderful friends here! I’m finding that the feeling in this town is one of family and friendship and everyone is just so pleasant. The kids, even, have made friends and I’m LOVING it!

We’re gearing up for our first winter–as where we lived in California didn’t really have winter. Not really. Here, we’ve been stocking up on the winter clothes and getting ready to face the snow!

I can’t wait to share with you next month all the amazing changes! Below are some pictures from our new town and our home–we also had Oktoberfest in the park this past weekend and that brought incredible beer and brats!
