So, guess what I won?! Yup! The Liebster award. The Liebster Blog Award is for bloggers who have less than 200 followers. I want to thank the three of you that nominated me!! You guys are awesome! Okay, so because I don’t want to answer 33 questions, I’m just going to pick one of you girls’ questions to answer. Nicole, from Books Worth Cheering For, this is for you!

11 Fact About Yours Truly
1. I’m going to be 30 in January. I remember when 30 used to feel old. Yeah, not anymore.

2. Something you may already know–I have four kids. I have two boys, L who is five and J who is ten months. And, I have identical twin girls, K & C. They’ll be 3 in mid-July. Crazy!

3. I got married when I was twenty. Technically, it was two weeks before my twenty-first birthday. We’ve now been, HAPPILY, married for 8 1/2 years. He’s my best friend.

4. More shocking than getting married at twenty? I only knew my husband a whopping 7 months before we got engaged, and three months after our engagement we were married. Yup.

5. I am an only child. I was sooooo bored when I was little. I think that’s why I always knew I wanted a big family.

6. I have false teeth. I was born without two of my teeth (a couple in front) and I’ve been wearing false ones for ten years, now.

7. I hate to cook. Yeah, my hubby is the one that cooks most of the meals in this house.

8. I LOOOOOOVE banana ice cream. I will do ANYTHING for some good banana ice cream.

9. I love books (obviously) like other girls love shoes. I have about 2,000 books on my iPad right now (most of which were free). I don’t have any idea when I’m going to read them all. But, I can’t. Stop. Buying. Them.

10. I’m not athletic, in the least. Actually, I’m pretty darn uncoordinated. It’s ridiculous, really.

11. The last, most important thing about me is that I love Jesus. I try every day to be a loving, kind, individual just like Him.

11 Questions & Answers
1. What is your ALL TIME favorite book and why?
This is SUCH a hard question. Buuuut, in the spirit of the Liebster…I’d have to say any book from Colleen Houck’s Tiger Saga. Love. Them.

2. Do you prefer happy endings, sad endings, or either and why?
Definitely happy endings. I feel like if a book ends on a sad ending, that most authors do it because they, secretly, hate the readers.

3. Cliff hangers: What are your thoughts about them? Would you rather have most of the plot lines tied that way you can have some piece of mind while waiting a year for the next one to come out?
Cliff hangers I can get on board with. It serves a purpose to both tie in to the next book, and also keep the reader anticipating the next book. I’ve found books that don’t have a LITTLE bit of a cliff hanger, I tend to forget all about.

4. Love triangles: Sick of them? Love them? What are your thoughts about them?
If done well, a love triangle can be fabulous. If done poorly, a love triangle can be the demise of an, otherwise, wonderful book.

5. Do you think books should be turned into movies? Or left alone? Why?
Sure! I love a good book-turned-movie. But, I think the fans of the books need to remember that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get the same feeling you do from a movie that you do from a book.

6. Do you prefer Contemporary novels or Paranormal/Fantasy/Dystopian/etc.? Why?
I don’t really have a preference as long as it’s good!

7. Quick! Your bookcase caught on fire and you can only save 5 books! What 5 would you take and why?
All my favorites are on my iPad. 🙂 I pray that it never burns up!

8. If your favorite author decided to write a nonfiction book or book that isn’t in your usual type of book to read, would you still read it? Why/not?
Yes. Because, I will give ANYTHING a try once.

9. Who is your favorite book boyfriend (or girlfriend) and why?
Oh goodness! This is a hard one! I’m going to have to go with Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables. I’ve loved him since I was 12. 🙂

10. Damsels-in-distress vs. Heroines: Which do you prefer and why?
I think a girl can be both! I LOVE a character that is SOOO multi-faceted as to be able to be strong and courageous but also needs some saving every once in awhile. I think that’s more realistic, anyway.

11. If an author were to write you as a character in their book, who would you want the author to be and would you want to be in a work they’ve already created or something new? what kind of character would you want to be?
Lisa T. Bergren. I want to be a character in one of her River or Time novels. I could totally be a medieval, Italian, chick.
