The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy Burgess from Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
So, I may be in the minority here, but I kind of hate social media. The only reason I enjoy it a little bit is because it helps me to connect to other readers, blogger, and find books I may not have found otherwise.
And for that, I really enjoy Facebook–I always see ads for the most amazing-looking books on there!
And, I think I’d have to say Instagram for the book pictures. I love the Bookstagram community!
I only really do short spurts on social media, because I want good stuff, and other people want to vent. I gave up on Facebook after the 2016 election. It got too ugly on there. I do Twitter and Instagram a bit (lots of muted people and words), but still enjoy Goodreads the most.
I think my favorite is Instagram. Also love the bookstagram community there and met some amazing people throughi it.
