This was a book that I was extremely eager to pick up! I love books that their main focus is on the romance. They make for nice, fluffy, stress-free reads.
Tilly Tennant wrote a super-sweet story featuring an enemies-to-lovers couple who just needed a little push to realize they were right for each other. The writing was just what I was hoping; the pacing was solid, and the story was engaging.
My only complaint was that I just didn’t love the characters. And, I think that’s just because they felt a little flat to me. Like I couldn’t quite connect with them.
I do love a story where the girl with the broken heart gets the (right)guy in the end. I will definitely be reading more from Tilly Tennant!
